Heeiii ppl in France......:)
Im a 20 yrs old newyorkergurlie n I jus arrived 2 Paris..:D I gonna be studyin here 4 like 6months n I hope 2 maybe get 2 know sum of u ta's from the Paris area....
how'z the scene here in the city..ne gd clubs or maybe big events planned dis summer????
tell me everythin dat I need 2 know here...heheh:) ;)

Hi Suz!
You're not the first who ask us this, and I'll not the first time we'll answer that : France is in a...buble totally hermetic to trance music.
No trance clubs in Paris, 3 maybe 4 recordstores who sell trance music in Paris.
Oh, of course, there is Fnac and Virgin, but, you'll find there only some commercial audio cd, and maybe some vinyl (there was only Suburban Train last time...).
So, I hope you took your trance music in your luggages.
And..clubs? You can go to Rex Club if you like techno.
This is the France's situation about trance music.

mysteryland and dance valley should be hot this year. As far as i know there's always tickets available when u really need them :toothless
grab information about summer parties in the whole forum though, you might find some other interesting parties |

i'll be in Paris tommorow meeting up with some TOTA's! taking the train from Antibes where i am right now ..
i wish i could get this many replies with my threads.. hrmmz maybe a nice avatar would do .. :D

Anyway, you 2 sadly missed the biggest trance event in france since uhm... a long time. If came 10 days earlier you could have come to strasbourg for the Community (rank 1 + alex morph). |

Where you at from in nyc ? I go to nYc every couple months, I'm out in Cleveland right now unfortunately; it kind of sucks! Maybe you've seen me post in nyta forums before;
But yeah anyhow, I suggest checking out www.france-techno.fr for different nights ... but tbh I been out of the country ( france ) for a couple years so I don't know all the websites for the best going out clubbing info.
My best advise is go to stores like Techno import and such and stock up on some flyers!
And lastly, I dunno where you used to go clubbing in the city ( bigger events? arc? sf ( lol ) ? roxy ? limelight ? avalon ? spirit ? etc etc but dress code tends to be a tad stricter in Paris, they're unfortunately known for that. So BEWARE! |

Paris is a nice place for clubbin' with House/Techno music.
Indeed there's no Trance overthere:mad: .

but there's many others with RnB, commercial music & co...:

Man Ray
Duplex
There's always something to do @ night in Paris especially if you like to party.
