Neil's Tiesto Detroit Bleu Review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| now everybody here know im a tiesto whore....but i swear... no exaggerations(after hearing bad things about vision the night before)this was the most complete three hour sets ive EVER heard from tiesto, honestly it was a masterpiece. for those of you who were at his set at orlando previously, it was very simailar and THEN SOME. suberb tracks, GREAT MIXING(NOT A MISPRINT, no trainwrecks, sorry bobba lou), stellar crowd interaction, yada IN YADA. now for for the review.... i got to club bleu at around ten. was still dead but starting to fill up, opening trance dj kenneth thomas was putting on a nice set, he is basically a markus shulz of the north, never heard a bad set from the guy, solid dj. tiesto comes on at about 11:30, room ERUPTS. again tijs in GREAT MOOD!!!! just starts laying down P-H-A-T track after phat track. now for this... a friend of mine has skin-faithfulness vinyl with him, hands it to tiesto to sign, he does, my friend says i want you to play it to, tiesto takes it and ques it up RIGHT THERE,RIGHT THEN, HOW IN COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one of my fave tracks of the night, incredible...things after this song just started to take off, club vibe was great, tiesto was in the zone, TRACK SELECTION WAS OUT OF HAND!!!!im not great at id'ing tracks but lets just say it was an orgasm for the ears, A COMPLETE SET, OMFG. i must of called trancebrat and my brother a half dozen times just in my glory!! so much fun. one of those sets where you just look over at your friend and shake your head, "is this guy out of his mind"!? mindblowing.... the energy and the vibe in this club was just insane at this point and tiesto is just SOAKIN it up!!! i dont know what else to say but for those of you guys that where at space, you didnt see the real tiesto, the guy i saw at orlando and detroit was just surreal(the unrivaled TIESTO EXPERIENCE), what i live for, thank you tijs, for another nite i will never forget, youve been responsible for some of best nites of my life, I LOVE YOU. cant wait to see you again in fall, all the haters!!! thank you to friends and detroit for great weekend!! long live MAJIK MUZIK!!!!! |

| Sounds like a rememberable night Neil. Cheers to good times. Kenneth Thomas is my bro! When i lived in the midwest he would open for every big dj. He has hooked my friends and i up phat at events. He's a great dj as well. He's sendin me his latest mix cd asap. should be good;). |

Neil you crazy f*cker! About freakin time you posted this review! I think you called me 6 times last night! You called throughout Tiesto's whole set. Let me quote Neil... "AMBER!!!! He's out of his ing mind!!! OMG!!!" :p Then you called me when it was over...at 3am! :eek: haha! I had to be up at 7am! After talking to you I had a hard time going back to sleep! I was tired all damn day. Poor me. :( I didn't get to see Tiesto a third time (in a week) and I was tired all day at work.  Grrr!!! :haha: I'm glad you had so much fun...again! Damn!!! I wish that I could have been there. You know that you missed me! :tongue2 The story that you told me about your friend is cool as !
At least this time you didn't end any of your calls with "YOU SHOULD BE JEALOUS!!!" :whip: I still am pissed about that phone call! :stongue:

the set had that tiesto "majik journey" feel, but i wouldnt say the track selection was like the majik seris tiesto, unfornately that style of trance is long gone. |

agree 100% tune is massive...unfortunately Tiesto left this one at home when he came to Boston...along with most other good trax. |

I would have died if he had played this song at SPACE. One word comes to mind about this remix...SICK!!! It's unbelievable how someone could turn such a slow song into such an incredible trance anthem. |
