hahah.. the irony that one can be 'informed' from seeing this list.. I mean.. we all KNOW Tiesto is the number one dj in the world! :tongue3
always the same ol' tune when this list is mentioned.. so take it for what it is, with a grain of salt.
However.. techno is better represented in this year's poll than at least in the last 3-4 years.. Carola, Liebing, Rush, Beyer for the first time (how is that possible?? hehe) and then the usual old guard of Mills, Garnier, Hawtin & Clarke. So guess they got more voters this year from eastern europe, and south america.. hehe |

Ya.. I'm sure everyone's list would be vastly different... if I had the chance to see half the djs I'd like to see on this side of the ocean, my 'list' would be very different also.
All this poll does really is asses the drawing power of a lot of djs so their agents can work out (and now justify!) the magic formula of $25000 USD per gig... or whatever. |

hehe, half the djs there are trance...so it starts really bad...
there are some I just dont know....but they might be good.....there are some that deserve to be much more on top of the list....and there are some missing....

first 5 are based on live performances and productions
last 5 are based on productions/sets I've heard/people telling me theyre awesome....would really like to see them.... |
