i think they need to stop with that should i be or shouldn't i be spider man bit. same bs from the first.
graphics are ok at best, the Japanese are a year or two ahead of us.
they are going to be milking the cow on this one.
yeah inconsistencies get to me too. kind of fun to point them out..
JUST COME OUT WITH VENOM or VENOM AND CARNAGE GET IT OVER WITH!!!! |

This movie was much better than the first. Dr. Octopus was a better on-screen villain than the Green Goblin. The hand-to-hand (or hand-to-tentacle?) fight scenes were fun to watch. This is one of the better movies this summer.

It was funny watching Peter Parker revert to the nerd he likes to be -- knowing the answers in class, tripping over himself, wearing tape on the glasses. |

The CGI was loads better in this one. I think they got the idea that moving camera and the right angles will make it look so much realer this time around. Most of the shot's didn't look CGI at all, which definitly makes things alot more enjoyable.
Spoilers Ahead..
The last part with spiderman flying through the city was the only time I could really really see the CGI.

I love Spiderman 2!
I'm normally not much one for sappy or cheesy love scenes, but I thought that it was so sweet how Mary Jane didn't give up on Peter Parker. It was really nice when she went to find him and said that she wanted to be with him, no matter what the risks. I think that's what true love is about: accepting people as they are, including their faults and mistakes, and never giving up on them.
(Yeah, it's sappy, but I didn't really have anywhere else to put my thoughts). |

| I remember reading somewhere that the director isn't head over heels in making a 4. Unless he's still find the characters like spidey/parker interesting. He doesn't think eddie brock/venom all that interesting as a character. I guess we'll see. |

| im not too familiar with the comics but after seeing spiderman 2, it wasnt too clear whetehr octavius died or not... at least it wasnt to me. anyone else get this impression? he said he wont die a monster...meaning.... |

Ok, here is what I am thinking for Spiderman 3. Just follow the comic book. If my memory serves me correctly, in the comic book, Venom is created when J Johnah Jameson's son goes into out space and comes in contact with the Venom symbyote virus. He comes back and is Venom. He terroizes the city and eventully is thrown in jail, where he passes off part of the venom virus to another prisoner by accident and that priosner becomes Carnage (could be in Spiderman 4 possibly). So I think that becuase Mary Jane ran out on 3J's son and ddi not marry him, he should go to space become venom and take vengence on MJ and Peter Parker. At the same time The Lizard should come into play, being that they showed the professor who eventully turns into the lizard. I think they should integrate both Venom and The Lizard into the 3rd movie, and Carnage into the 4th possibly.
Damn, way for me to display my dorkiness. All I can say is this, I had a repressed chilhood where all I did wassaty in the house and read comicbooks. :nervous:
BTW, how fcukin' scary is this smiley. It is mad crazy like the Exorcist!:tongue3 LOL. |

Your partially right, But JJJ's son doesnt become infected by it, What happens was, His son went on a mission to space, Then later comes back and the alien being stowed way upon the shuttle, when the shuttle was comming back, Spiderman was nearby when the shuttle was gonna make a crash landing saving it., The alien possess Peter Parker's body for a while, He was enjoying his new abilities after he found it, But then later it was trying to take over his mind and causing him to do bad things, So Peter found a way to get rid of it, Then later on, the alien ended on the body of Eddie Brock, a former employee of the newspaper Peter works at, Thus creating Venon, At some point, The alien suit spawned it creating another being like itself, And that alien suit ended up on the body of a psychopath, Thus creating Carnage. |
