Remember back in the day when you could throw on a pair of jeans and a hoodie, grab some comfy shoes and spend saturday night and most of sunday morning with the greatest music you ever felt? Maybe I'm just jaded, but lately it seems like everybody's putting on sunday best to go to the club, join the meatmarket, and hook up for the night, weekend, whatever. Tell me there's still hope.

maybe you jsut arent going to the right places.

If you're talking about On Broadway, yes.. I have to agree... That's the world's biggest meat market!!!!! I cant stand that place... But here in LA is different... I have gone in shorts, well maybe not... lol but I have gone in jeans, shirt and some tenis shoes on...

Change is inevitable.

Try going to a underground rave bro, the best ones you cant drive to but are picked up and taken to haha. It seems the rave scene is what youre missing, and it is dying, but something to remember, we're all growing up remember? I was a teenager when raves were getting big, now when i go to one i feel like i should be holding these kids hands as they cross the street, and they look at me funny. So where to go? Clubs obviously, and occasionally house parties. Clubs have dress codes remember? Believe me id be in sweats at mezzanine if i could LOL, but it just aint in the cards.
Miss Julia
Spundae, Red, & Avalon don't have dress codes. ;)

Sorry- but I would rather go to a little more upscale place with a dress code then have a bunch of people running around in shorts.

Dont get me wrong- I love the music- but the girls are nice too.

Go to Montage or some of the more obscure places. Downtown in general probably isnt a good bet for you.
