Hey, I'm planning on purchasing a kaoss pad 2 this weekend, but as of late ive been hearing of a common problem with hooking the kp2 up to a mixer. I read that some people were having trouble with it changing the volume when they go to change the wettness of the effect or something like that? I heard one case where a person was saying they were having a problem like this with thier pcv275...this worries me because thats the mixer i have.
So i know alot of people here have the pcv275, and a fair amount have a kp2. Can anybody tell me if there is any problems with hooking the two up? It would be great to get feedback from someone who owns both.
-thanks alot. |

I have a Kaoss pad one and have to admit that I have hardly ever used it. Main reason being is that it's a little gimmicky for my liking. The volume levels are a problem especially with the sampling function.
It works ok on send and recieve type channels where the main sound isn't coming from the Kaoss pad. But on the whole I think it's a waste of money.
Cheers

| I would suggest the pioneer efx unit over the korg kaos pad. Though you might wanna wait for the new pioneer efx unit thats supposedly coming out soon. |

i have an efx500, and to be honest t never sounds as good when i put it through the send/recieve channels as when i put it on the master channel. the levels are quite hard to get right..
i always have it on the master which can get annoying at times. i think i may use it as an excuse to get a nuo5 :p |

I have a KP2, no problems...
The levels are way off on some of the effects, but it works fine. |
