I don't really think you want to be selected for jury duty. |

| What if I am polytheistic? I would be offended by pledge and currency bills. |

please, you would be offended by being asked to coexist with em? chances are, if you're of a religion that doesnt support peaceful coexistence, then its not all that reputable religion to start with, and the government and powers that be will have your number in a while anyways. I dont remember where, but it says somewhere in the bible, "obey your earthly masters". This came into effect during the days of Martin Luther, and the peasant uprisings. It's ok to go for change, but not at the cost of chaos and death. |

Some interesting thoughts about forcing views...
Consider this, for instanace. I attended two catholic schools during the last 5 years. I am an atheist. It was an unforgettable experience, especially religion classes. Comical, ironic, amusing as hell. I recommend it to anyone who is suffering from lack of adventures in school. |

Heres my viewpoint.
I dont beleive in the one "God" as most do. I was raised catholic and dont really have a problem with organized religion except for the fact that they all think they are right.
How the hell, can you all be right, almost every religion is based on something that happened thousands of years ago.
Anyone remember the "telephone" game you'd play in kindergarten?
After a while the message gets distorted and people change it to what they want others to hear.
They(religions in general) have the right idea, respect yourself and others.
My belief is that, there is no one god because that is impossible.
All living things have magnetic fields, or atleast they give off energy. Therefore in my eyes, those who chose to acknowledge it, are part of the collective conscious. Thats why sometimes you'll finish a friends sentence, or think of something the same time as someone else. Thats why pyramids were built all over the world in varying styles, yet none of the builders saw the others.
If i'm not mistaken calculus was invented by 2 people at the same time in different parts of the world as well.
Its not being psychic, its knowing. Its very hard to explain, especially on a forum, but I know theres others who believe as I do, and they know what I'm trying to say.
Because studies show that humans are using a small % of their brain, just reinforces my theory (atleast to me it does).
Start learning to use that other 95% |

Hahaha, true. Anyway, for all you atheists and agnostics, I really recommend you read this book:
Patrick Glynn - GOD: THE EVIDENCE
It's not the book you think it is, it only gives you a bigger perspective on things, and everything is based on true facts, unlike the "big bang theory" and so on. To tell you a little bit of what it talks about : Cientists have proved all around the world that there are specific measures and constants (gravity, electromagnetism, general physics, etc.) which only end is to make life on earth possible. But what is this all for? or better yet, who made this possible? |

I don't think jurors testify, I just had to go as a witness to an accident. |

Even though I semi-agree with you there are some rather large holes in the reasoning there. |
