will do a fantastic job hooking up your friends to Trance! |
No offend, but I think this track is to hard to listen for a beginner. |

I usually burn a copy of DJ Tiesto - Live @ Dutch Dimension 04.01.2000
I have to say that this Tiesto set is a good staple of trance. I could not just pick one track because so many artists have different "feels" to trance. |

I'd use "Electrique Boutique - Revalation (Ferry Corsten remix)" to promote trance. I know it's a old track, but it's definatly one of the best tracks produced in my opinion. But only the Ferry Corsten remix though.
A good alternative to "Revalation" would be "Veracocha - Carthe Blance" or perhaps "Dutchforce - Deadline".
;)
I agree with Wicked Neo when he says you should choose a track that made you get into trance! |

JFK - Good God
anything of Marco V
Hope I helped you out |
I agree some hard stuff...and I suggest you also give em a dose of Airheadz - Stanley, the warp brothers or stanley in a trance mix or Dario G - Dreams to Me (Airscape mix), the recognisation of the vocals will make them like trance...as for the hard stuff give em DJ Scot Project - Overdrive, eventhough it takes ages for the PEAKIN riff...i'd also say Darude - Feel the Beat (JS16 Dark mix) and DJ Gert - Gimme some more...... for some reason.... i dunno |

Hehehe, that's ok, maybe you're right but if you want them to know what Trance is all about, I suggest this track because it has it all, hard beats and awsome melodies and vocals in it... everything a good trance track should have :) |

an older one: armin with 'communication'. For the rest, I'd say, the tracks from Gouryella.
I've a friend who likes folk, rock and other cheesy styles. And once, I let hem listen to 'Powell' with 'I am ready' (a quite heavy hardtrance track) and surprisingly, he liked it! Especially what comes after that very long building up. I conclude only one thing: many people say they don't like trance and so they chose for rock, cause they think there is a larger background in it... while trance is just about beats for them. But actually, they have to admit they like it, but they will never say it.
Aaaaah, their problem. As long trance exist, I have a reason to get up every day :)

| Tough one, i'd say Svenson & Gielen - The Beauty Of Silence. My friends loved it :) |

You should try some of these:
Gouryella - Walhalla
Agnelli & Nelson - Hudson Street
Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar (Three'n One Mix)
Arrakis - The Spice
Dutch Force - Deadline
System F - Out of The Blue
DJ Tiesto - Sparkles
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Rank 1 - Airwave
Svenson & Gielen - Beauty of Silence
Armin - Communication
Spoiled & Zigo - More + More
At least this tracks helped me get addicted. If none of them helps, then I'm afraid there's no hope! |
