| Well I could get away with ignoring this stuff, but all the people have been saying has friggin killed trance in my area. All of my days Ive heard the same mess about what forms of expression are acceptable for me and which ones are not and I just get sick of it all sometimes. Luckily I've found a few people who agree with me, so there is hope for trance in NC it seems. I just wish everyone could go out and have a good time no matter what music was playing, people and their stuid ideas ruin everything. I never said people who don't like trance are close minded, I know that there are some sounds people just don't like, but if you are really open minded you should be able to admit that there could be a song from any genre that you might find appealing. |

I also hate it when people ask me what music I listen to, then I say trance, then they say What is trance, then I explain(Knowing it's pointless). then they say DO YOU MEAN RAVE MUSIC? they say it in a way as if I have no idea what I'm talking about and that there is only one genre to it, "rave"... And then they will go on about how it all sounds the same and basically that I am just and idiot for listening to such rubbish. :whip: I have looked through some of those people cd collections and .... :nervous: I'm not even going there.
One time me and a few friends where driving along in my car, and a guy I've never seen before was driving with us, then he says "this music is ", and turns the radio to another station(It's my ing car you ). I didn't have a good day that day and this just flipped the I am ING PISSED switch. I hit the breaks hard and shouted "out of my car, you piece of !" the guy just turned pale with a blank stare on his face :wtf: , He looked so shocked that I began feeling sorry for him and started driving again. |

Do you really expect every human being in the world to know what "trance" is?
It's like when people say they like grindcore. Am I supposed to have such understanding of rock genres to know what grindcore is? Most TA's would label it as "heavy metal", which is quite unnaceptable for them, as far as I know. |

But atleast when you say you listen to rock it's better than saying you listen to rave... I don't like refering to dance music as rave, and if you say dance music, people generally think you talking about something else and then you might get it even worse(They might invite you to come listen to their dance music) :D
It's better to just ignore people, I don't bother them with what their listening, even though I think it's crap.
My favourite comments by non TA is " why do you want to buy a record player??", "They haven't made records for years" |

Seriously though, I love Sasha. Just making a point here. Words just don't cut it sometimes, you've gotta take action.
And if that still fails then show him your hairy ass and tell him to kiss it and off. |
