I grew up around free music, and I believe that music should be downloaded.
I've only purchased a couple records, as I'm still saving up for my decks, but I do buy albums and mix-cds. Everything else is downloaded. |

i don't think music should be free, but it should be at least a bit cheaper. i can see that happening in a couple of decades with the eventual extinction of labels, music being distributed digitally over the internet and all the cash being directed to the artist.
i do download, loads of stuff, for researching purposes... but i don't buy everything that i like, just an eventual bunch of records once in a while. it just would be insanely expensive to buy everything that i like, being a music freak |

As of earlier this year when I got my decks, the first option.
I'll be honest though, I don't buy EVERYTHING I download & keep. For the simple reason that some tunes I like but would never get any use out of them if I bought them. I only get records I can actually DJ with.
