i always had problems with weight but last sept when i came back from my vacation in Serbia i was so frickin huge, topped scale at around 300 lbs (in 3 months i have gained over 50 pounds, but i missed home cooking so much that i didnt really care + had some drinking marathons , by "some" i mean from 92 days i have been there i was drunk probably 80 days) and then i came back and i was not satisfied with my look so i said to muself " this"...
in first 6 months i have lost 80 lbs just dieting, i had to check my health every 3 weeks cause it was so devastating on my body, i have lost over 80 % of my body fat but in doing so i have also lost lots of my muscle mass too so i had to start working out and me being lazy s.o.b that was the hardest thing that i have done EVER in my life.
so for the past 3-4 months i have been working out, running and still losing weight, i am gaining my muscle mass slowly but steady and im feeling like 100.000.000 $, and even tho its hard im satisfied, my health have never been better.
TOTALLY off the topic but i just wanted to brag a bit :)
PIMP, u the man, keep up the good work man, it is nice that u want to share your dieting and workout plans with others.
anyone wants to loose lots of weight FAST pm me but i have to warn you if you have weak hearth, or history of hearth diseases in your family DO NOT pm me.
boat cruise was NICE, it sucksthat i wasnt able to make it there, but there is always next time ;)
p.s. if you ever find yourself in Serbia, Bosnia, or Croatia and you're thinking " i should try their cuisine", do it only if you gonna be there just for couple of days, if you staying longer DONT, it's sooooooooooooooo good, it's worse than any drug :haha:

| anyways dave it was a compliment..ur in huge ive been working out for abt a year now and ive gained abt 10 lbs im 170 now but i cant seem to gain anymore mass i just get more and more cut.i have a good work out plan to and i push myself every day but i guess this is the size i got to live with,..tho i really dont mind it to much another 10 lbs would be nice tho :P |

not necessarily, knowledge is more the key big shooter...Daves diet consists of keeping lean, getting what the body needs and keeping is internal motor running properly ( motabolism )
if you wanna gain ten pounds there are different methods of doing it.....for instance bulking up and then leaning out...which isn't the healthiest way....but maybe the faster way...or just do Daves diet...he's eating for a big guy and if you ate maybe three quarters of what he's eating a day...and lifting heavy along with a bit of cardio here and there....you could gain ten pounds no prob |

Doode! That is exactly how I lost 40 lbs (over 8 months) without significant change in my activity level.
GI is the way to go folks.  |

I saved that diet summary and read through the entire thing. GREAT program I must say, I'm going to try it at about 60% of what you're eating, as I'm about 5'9" 191lb. Thanks a ton :D |

Thanks bro...it's not even really the quantity of food. Eat when you're hungry, and don't stuff yourself. That's what I do, and it amounts to that much food.
The goal is to learn the GI and what carbs to eat to gain, and focus on those, as well as proteins, and including good fats to comprise 20% of your daily caloric intake.
It's not hard, it just takes focus. Get it on, get in the gym, and in 4 weeks you'll see results. It's the people that bust their ass in the gym only to work off the food they eat that don't see changes in their body. |

I agree with you 100%
My diet is what makes me fit, along with working out. It's a lifestyle/combo, and funny, I'm never hungry becasue I eat when I'm hungry. |
