well, if you add ff3 and ff6 together (cause i doubt that anyone is voting for ff3 for nes), its a tie between ct and ff3/6. and where the fizuck is Star Ocean motherfcukerssssssss! that is fire.

Have anyone played Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals? I thought that was a very nice game, good puzzles and a decent story line.

Also, I voted for FF6 thinking thats what he meant by FF3..the one with Terra and Sabin, etc.

Theres a lot of good rpgs on this list. I would've voted for Chrono trigger second, zelda (even tho its more of an adventure than rpg) and mario rpg.

The original Final Fantasy for Nintendo, hands down.

I thought that this catagory would also include Baldurs Gate (I), but your going way past my time :)

FF3/6 by far. Chrono Trigger and SoM were great as well, tho.
Plastick
Didnt really touch the RPGs during old school days... ff7 was my first 'serious' RPG. I'll vote for BOF!

Porky
voted for ff3 for snes
then realized after i voted that ff6 (us ff3) was on it

my god, ff3 was ing hard! not like the recent ff's where they let you play the game w/o dying

I second this. Amazing game that spawned a franchise.
