well ok if you're being strictly technical then it can indeed be classified as a rhythmically organized sequence of single tones so related to one another as to make up a particular phrase or idea, but does the term 'melodic' honestly come to mind when you picture it? :wtf:
considering the dictionary definition of melody can be bent to have the term apply to just about anything in music, i'd say it had a subjective meaning. and for me, one note pressed at varying intervals does not cut it ;) |
