i did this remix for the Blank & Jones remix competition, but unfortunately i can't got any of the top 21 places, so i thought i will post the full thing here, in 192kbps,

| Sounds good but lacks energy and drive, sounds amateurish, but no offense, I could never produce that good. Anyway, it didn't feel like Flowtation...it's one of those remixes that are more a new song rather than a remix. But still, I liked it...good mastering...at least in my speakers...it sounded good and never muddy.:gsmile: |

Not so full of energy exactly, but good mastering, not perfect.
I like the sound of it, but there's too much of the same stuff all over it, kind of repetive. Maybe you should've played some more with the melody to give it more energy.
I didn't like the bassline that much either, but maybe that's just me though.
Else, it's quite nice.

I never heard the original, but the melody sounds nice, yet 1 thing i should change: make it more energetic :) or it could use some equalizing because it sounds more like a pad. If that is what you want: ignore my comment then :)

i was kind of thinking along the same lines. The track was all set up and done right, but seemed to be missing something that'd complete it. Seemed to lack that extra layer or tweak that would have given it some energy (which was what I felt was missing from this the way it was setup). Sounded kind of flat, but its still really good and I liked it better than some of the other flowtation remixes I've heard. |

nice to see you sharing full tracks of you:D this remix is awesome mate! nice breakdown. it needs some more power i think, the track sounds a bit weak to me. anyway great remix you have done!

| this could be definitely a hot tune. much own creativity in that. buildup and synths sound very good imo. but i would go for another mastering. whole tune needs some more pressure (some sounds are a bit weak in my opinion). |

the hi hats are nice
the bass drop FX is cool
minus
to little power in the main synth
the percussion are losing is power on the way..
melody is also losing power
it ends up sounding a little muddy
conclusion
u got a nice build up going here, it could be some more percussions in the build up though.. u got a nice introduction to the synth, and the additional synth is good.. but I think the "take-off" lacks alot of drive, it really goes down after that.. it starts up nice, but as the track processes, it starts to sound a little muddy (and u almost use the same brakbeat as I did :p ) the best things about your remix is the FX, they are great and sounds good, while I think the bass could have needed more work, and so does the melody.. |

anyway, i did the breakbeat part on my own, didnt hear it in your remix...
you probably right about, the take-off, the tune loses a lot of power in there, but i just tried to make a melodic chill track with some nice summer feel and energy, but yeah the bassline is not my best, anyway...:) |
