No, I'm with you there. Sounds like it has a bitcrusher or some lo-fi effects, and the computer voices that go "ALL... TOGETHER" definitely lead to that conclusion. It's a wonderful piece of music, quite unique and I can't mistake it for anything else.
Someone might even assemble a .SWF about it... showing little computer people working on a house and raising their hands in unity: "ALL TOGETHER!" while the pulsing percussion signals the virtual pixellated sun rising up and onwards . . . !
Oh, here's an obvious one:
Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation
Okay, in effect, it IS a video game remake of a tune from "Lazy Jones". If that one doesn't count, and if the classic video game samples in BT's "Movement In Still Life" or "Superfabulous" don't either, then put me down for:
Prodigy - Memphis Bells
The bellish riff on this reminds me obliquely of some of those Nintendo adventure games like Shadowgate and Uninvited. The whole thing, with its clockwork-clicking hi-hats and Princess Superstar's snipped vox, is an odd treat. |

It samples Strider but the melody is original and nicely aliased, methinks. |
