Any reviews bout Sasha at Avalon?

| i was there for 1 hour of his set. it was pretty good at first but i got tired really fast..he wasnt pumping me up or anything..guess people who dropped should be higher^^ overall i liked Luke Fair's set...FUNKY~~~ |

I liked Luke Fair's set alot!! Avalon wasn't fully packed when he was on, so my friends and I were dancing on the dancefloor, but I was trying to conserve my energy for Sasha...
When Sasha started, the whole vibe of the club just changed. Sasha was playing some of the sickest, twisted, demented music I have ever heard Live in my entire life!!!! :eyes: Every song he played was just mind-ing... and his mixing was so flawless. There were times when I payed really close attention to hear when he mixes in the next song, but he blends everything in so smoothly, you can't tell when he is mixing.... (atleast I couldn't tell).
He ended his set with #9 on his new cd... Felix da Housecat- Watching Cars Go Bye. I must have really bad speakers on my computer at home, because that song sounded soooo much better live!! :eyespop:
It was soooo packed last night from start to finish. I didn't even want to bother dancing on the dancefloor while Sasha was on. I was just upstairs for most of his set... on those tables, sitting down and enjoying the music!!! Wow, what a greaaaaaat night!!! :D |

| excellent set..amazing sounds...only problem was the crowd...started of near him when he started his set and by the end of the night i was pushed back to the back end of the dance floor...and i was sober case i was driving back alone and think i wouldve got dehydrated and pasased out from jumping around if i were smashed...fawking hot in there...but that did'nt seem to bother anyone...someone please put up a track list...one of the best nights ever...is anyone going for hernan, danny tonight? |

| Damn, I really want to see Hernan & Howells tonight... but i have to work this afternoon, and I won't have energy. Plus, I'm not a big fan of Ivar... I can't stand that place. |

Sasha was fun last night. I was beat, so I couldn't stay all night, but Luke ripped it up in the beginning as well.
I plan on going to Ivar tonight after I get out of work. What is it that you don't like about iva?

It's one of those typical, trendy, dress-to-impress clubs. Yes, there is a dress code there. I don't know if they changed the code for tonight, but I'm 99.9% sure that the typical Ivar crowd will be there. |

I really danced my ASS off.
Luke really picked it up at the end. his set was gr8!
yeah, i agreed with sexy persian. the whole vibes changed when sasha took the deck. Along with the best speakers in the west coast and lots beautiful people, and the incredible light show, my friends and i really enjoyed sasha's set last night. It was the only night that i wish it would end early because we were so tired.
so we left around 4:10am! Can anyone tell me if I miss anything.....PLease;)
This was the third time that I saw Sasha (Giant NYE2001, S.F. Mezzanie 2003, and last night.) and everytime it's so refreshing to hear his music. Btw, not only his set is nearly flawless, but it's also f#&*ing more difficult than tiesto's and avb's stuff.
I gonna have to change my avatar soon!:p |

Ya, I agree, it seems alot more difficult than the stuff Tiesto and all them play. The stuff Sasha plays is alittle more "intelligent", I guess you can say.
No, u didn't miss anything. His set ended around 4:15am. It was still packed at that time!! Everyone started cheering, and that was it. Everyone left after that. :) |

| Best night EVER!!!! I just wish i had more energy, i wasted it all standing in line. I got there at 7 to buy tickets and didnt get in until 1. I ended up leaving at 4 because my back and legs were killing me. Can anyone ID the song he played that sounded like the song from KIll Bill?? It was awesome!! |

It was freaking awesome.... I loved it from beginning to end. I also liked the fact that the front wasn't overcrowded so you were actually able to dance!!!! That said... Sasha is my favorite DJ and he proved his position again last night.... I saw him at Virgin too, that was cool but it was like a whatevers thing....
He dropped this one techno sounding song at the show and at Virgin that starts as breaks then stops, and some robotic voices come out that say N. E. R. E or something like that, then the song speeds up really fast... than it stops and it says it says it again and goes back to breaks... Anyone has that tune ID?
Hi encore made my night... I was waiting for that song the whole night then he finally dropped it... His own remix of WATCHING CARS GO BY.... I love that remix...
He did start off kinda slow, but damn... he built up to some fast breaks.. My favorite part had to be his last 1 1/2 hours... defenitely lots of energy and some dope ass build ups and a track selection that amazed me!!!!!
BTW, It was nice meeting several of you last night... I'm sorry I'm bad with names I was the guy that was with SweetcandyGurl and Miss Julia most of the night.. Jesse...
