defo the z3ta
sum presets on their own are cpu hungry
the v station, pro 53 and vanguard use hardly any cpu |

atmosphere is the big cpu killer
vaz if u use 2 synths at the same time both with unison
and z3ta not far behind

I see zeta is leading the way :D I also think that this is probably the winner in this category.
I see alot of people asking why I haven't included some synths. Should I add the requested synths plus some additional ones to fill up the 40 possible poll choices? This will kind of alter the poll results but maybe its not too late.
If I should add new synths then please list the ones you want. |

this is more like a which CPU intensive synths do ppl use more thread instead of a which synth is the most CPU intensive
I mean.. zeta uses a lot of CPU which is true.. but not as much as synths like superwave performer or reaktor |

My vote goes out to Kontakt... Atmosphere is close second.
BTW, ever since I switched to 3.06 HT Intel P4, I noticed a substantial performance increase. I guess that HT is good for something. |

| I have both and I have measured them. Atmosphere is not as bad as z3ta. Atmosphere uses on average about 20% of my CPU. Z3ta about 25%. CS-80V does the both of them together and some. |
