| what i'm gathering from this whole event is that pvd set was great, and the peak of the set was TRAFFIC, funny, a song produced by tiesto! eerily familiar to his wmc event where he dropped flight 643, again the peak of his set, and a track by tiesto! do i sense a pattern! anyways....it seems pvd does really well at outdoors events, like ultra. tho his indoor sets leave something to be desired to me, im always just thinking i wish i was listening to tiesto... sorrry pvd whores i had to throw that in!!! glad you guys had a great time besides the whole emphysema you may be delveloping! |

Markus' first set is 116MB.
Motorcycle LIVE is 69MB.
and Markus' 2nd set is 92MB.
I'm encoding the 2nd tape now.....PvD is on right now....OMFG I DIE. OH LORD, I HAVE MY #1 FAV. DJ IN THE WORLD ON TAPE.  |

| i have to get this off my chest... no offense to you guys who dont like acosta, but why all the hate?! because he's fat? and all this bull about him spinning cheese, define CHEESE. the 93.1 plays on there rotation is CHEESE. but every dj plays songs that might be classified as cheese not just acosta. and most of you that pass judgement on the poor man have never even been to a liveset of his before this sunday. WHAT the hell is that all about? thats like these harvard professors teaching MBA classes but that have never actually worked for a corporation(wheres the EXPERIENCE, in other words?!) it just seems cool to people nowadays to say "GEORGE IS FAT AND SPINS CHEESE" like all you other annoying s who go around parroting chappelles "IM RICK JAMES BITCH", jesus christ, say something original! now im not a huge fan of the man, but ive seen a couple of livesets of his and i tell you what the guy can put on a good set, he may not be a pvd or tiesto, but he knows how to feel a crowd, imho. and back in the late ninties, early millenia, the guy used to spin some of the best hard trance ive ever heard. i think when he changed his style from that thats when he started to slip a bit in my eyes, but thats besides the point. but for real, i love most of you guys in this forum, but sometimes some of the critisisms are totally wanker and brainless, and utterly unstubstantiated. sorry i had to get that off my chest, im not trying to start , take it how you like, i just sick of all the acosta bashing, if your so good why arent you up there? you know what i mean.. peace, sorry to get off topic! |

Amen to that. i used to go every saturday with my fake ID in high school to Shadow Lounge. hes a big part of teh reason i got into EDM |

| here are my 2 cents on acosta. i have always liked the he spins. jsut not a fan of the guy. ive seen him a bunch and he always seems like he thinks he is gods gift to turntables. always pointing to himself and . from the first time i ever saw him, i thought this. it was at ultra 2 or 3. the last one they had on the beach. he was going on the main stage after hybrid and they were doing finished symphony as their closing track. he comes on stage and starts spinning and tries to mesh into their track and they just walk off the stage. i thought that was pretty dick. he is a miami dj who people can see all the time, kicking off one of the best live acts in the world. after this, i saw him in gainesville once and tried to talk to him before he went on for his set. he was just a genuine and blew me and my buddy off. so i understand what you guys are all saying, but as far as i go, ill diss him as a person and hate him, but i think he spins some sick trance or at least used to. i havent seen him in probably 2 years. hope this post made sense and was worht the read. |

| yeh, im not commenting on him as a person just purely as a dj, after some of the comments ive read in this thread. but your right ive heard he's hard to deal with, thats why he isnt at level or maze anymore, but yeah your right he's not the greatest human being on the planet, but this arguement was aimed at his dj skills and 'cheese' arguement, yada yada. |
