No -- i'm not talking about Charlie Murphy ( for those who follow the hillarious Dave Chappelle Show )

The darkness i'm referring to here is the one brought on by listening to the dark tech house monster that is

Circulation - Cobalt (A Side Mix)

A progressive chunky tech house beat leads off proceedings, laying the wax foundation as this train quickly picks up steam, gathering momuntem for the 6 and a half minute passage into a dark, forbidden tunnel. Each stage reveals its own share of secrets till we reach the breakdown where an errie sonic inferno waits in the darkness to pounce on the unsuspecting clubber, unleashing twisted stabs which engulf the listener, isolating them on the floor as the creeping bassline filters through to claim what is left.

Sorry for being so wordy, this track has been on heavy rotation, and seeing as how the board wanted to focus more on the music, felt like a good recommend for anyone who enjoys dark tech-house. Been fluctuating between the light and dark sides of prog for a few months now...In terms of recent productions out there, it seems the balance is slightly tilted towards the more airy sounds, which is fine but sometimes DARKNESSSS is what is really required.

Now, Gimme some of your fav dark beats..
