Has anyone had this problem?
I ordered a couple records from ChemicalRecords.com in the UK and one of the records is "World on Fire" Sarah McLachlan Junkie XL mix. I received the record but when I went to play it, it was the original Sarah McLachlan song (not the remix). The label on the record says Junkie XL mix. The actual B side is "Stupid" Sarah McLachlan - Hyper Mix, the correct B side for the Junkie XL A side. It's as if the A side was incorrectly pressed... What the $^%&!!!!

This is my 5th time ordering from Chemical Records and before this I had no problems. I was just wondernig if this is happening to anyone else or do I have a very rare, although Sh!tty record.

I'll post an update of how Chemical Records handles this mistake. Let's see how their reputation hold up.

taken form the canada forum.

Hmm.. My vinyl has the correct junkie xl mix on the flip.. Didn't order it from chemical, though..

So there was 2 bathces of vinyl pressed and one of them got the original mix instead of the junkie xl mix?

I feel bad for you guys, who got the wrong vinyl.. I really like the JunkieXL remix. All the guitars and of course Sarah's excellent voice @ 134 bpm.. A great piece of waxx, thats for sure!

This happened to myself as well. I was in HMV and saw the vinyl and got it, when i got home I realised it wasn't the same track that i had heard on the internet. It turns out that that there are two different vinyls, one has the Junkie XL mix, the other has Junkie XL Trance Rework.

I guess i'll just have to buy the second, the Junkie XL mix is a decent but you couldn't play it out.

Junkie XL's remix is awesome, better than Hyper's. But Hyper's mix is great too!

Yeah this is rockin' for sure! I like it!
Since we're on the subject anyway, I must say the best Sarah Mclachlan remix I've heard would be Hold On (BT's Remix)... very sweet!

SARAH MCLACHLAN REMIX
Junkie XL recently completed a remix for Sarah McLachlan's "World on Fire" track. In addition to the completed uptempo remix, Tom Holkenborg is also working on an alternative down tempo radio mix.

Tom's unique style is sure to come through, and was inspired from the original. As Tom says, "The remix is a pretty slamming track combined with nice melodic textures derived from guitars, pianos and other acoustic elements. Some of them were resampled from the original track but most of it is replayed, recorded by myself. The main theme is a guitar line that drives the whole track all the way through. Most important is Sarah’s voice. The quality of her sound makes the track very special.""

taken from junkie xl's site, which took that from sarah mclachlan's site
