Canadiana gifts?

Hello all,

I am going to Japan next year on exchange, and as a result i need to buy gifts for host family and friends i am staying with. So i would like to get them something Canadian, but not maple syrup hehe... any ideas..

there is a book at chapters by douglas coupland... its in the canadian section,,, its abotu all the things that are canadian,, its actually quite interesting,, its more of a picutre book,,, the cover is white and it has a picture of a stubbie on the cover... thats as about as canadian as you can get.... and if you dont want to get them a book,, then you can at least look in the book for ideas of what to buy them. there are actually two books,, part one and two ,,, here are the links,, from the chapters website... it also says which stores have it... ( i used to work there)
