One of the better flicks of '03 is now available as one of the better DVD's (or VHS for the cavefolks that've yet to ditch that huge VCR) of '04.
Picked up my copy about an hour ago. A whopping 10 bucks. TOTALLY worth it. Go check this one out... If you've already seen it and you like it, support it and buy it. If not, go rent this flick. Definitely worth the 5 bucks.

EDIT: Photobucket.com is acting up... Reload the page for the pic. |

Atta boy! Support :)
I purchased it at F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment, for anyone who doesn't know). It's on sale for 20 bucks and they give you a $10 mail-in-rebate... So it's not $10 per se but will be as soon as I get my 10 bucks. :D |

Probably so. I've had good timing with rebates in the past, though. About 1-2 months. Still... I will get 10 bucks back one way or another. |

Definitely a top notch movie. Great acting by both - children, teenager and adult representations of the main characters. A very solid and entertaining plot. It's in my top 10 this year for sure.
I'm just curious, how many alternate endings does the DvD have? |

I haven't got a chance to sit down and watch yet but I believe there is only one and that's part of the Director's Cut of the movie. |

This movie could've been much better w/ some different casting (except Amy Smart, she was great in this). More attention to the script. More time put into the movie all around. Also some pacing & ect.
Spoilers ahead...
What the difference between the alternate endings? The one I saw was w/ Ashton's character seeing Amy's character down the street like twenty years later or so. I hear there's another one. Is that the one on the retail dvd?

^^^ I saw that one, as well as the one where he is not born at all. With the 2nd ending some subtle changes where made through-out the movie.
*************SPOILER FOR 2ND ENDING*****************
In the 2nd ending he also realizes that his mother had 3 children like him (or him 3 times) before, and they were all miscarriages. He then finally understands that he was never meant to be and goes back to when he was in the womb and chockes himself - a more sad ending then the original :(. |
