Prodigy - Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned
View this Thread in Original format
Elmo-On-XTC
The release date is set for September but the promo release is out and all over the net.

Anybody else given it a listen?

Being a huge fan of Fat of the Land I have to say this new album is sorrta lacking. Lots of guest singers on this album (including Liam Gallagher on "Shoot Down") which makes for an interessting listen, but I didn't find the production of the tracks all that exciting. I loved the deep basslines of Diesel Power, the techy breaks in Mindfields, the funky-ness of Funky and the Dirty-ness of Smack My Bitch Up...Sounds which aren't present in this new album (with the exception of one or two tracks).

anyways I'm curious as to what you guys think of it :conf:

edit: give it a listen: http://www.theprodigy.ru/?page=down...c/music#prodigy

well is it anything like their last attempt, which was more metal than anything really.

Is it actually EDM this time? or are they straying further away?

I didn't find FotL very metalish...maybe firestarter was a little metal, but still dance.

I'll let you be the judge of it ;p
