Nice to meet all you guys. Sorry about the "ice breakers" :) Mission accomplished nevertheless. The food was okay, a little pricey than what I am used to in San Antonio. Hope to do this again for the next event.

Yeah I still cant believe it. Shame he wasnt in the best of spirits, but he wasnt a dick or anything. Ah well..he;s still cool in my book. |

I certainly hope it was nothing to do with Spundae, the club or the crowd. If it was We'll def hear about it from Sean tonight. If I had to speculate, Paul coulda just been really tired from a long weekend. Usually when I'm tired as I tend to get pissed pretty easily. All the flying, jet lag, time away from family, mobbing crowds...probably gets a lil old after a while. Its unfortunate and I was sorry to hear he wasn;t in the best mood, but I highly doubt it was anything personal against anyone or the crowd. |

keep in mind PVD always looks like he's in a bad mood and tired as . Plust he's not much of a talker. Every documentary, video, time ive seen him, you name it, he doesnt look too enthusiastic, but i've gathered thats just how he is.
Ofcourse, I wasnt there at the signings, so he coulda stabbed a fan with a pen and thrown em over the balcony for all I know. |

ing throws someones record across the room, nearly slicing a womans head off
but it does mean a lot when a DJ is really enthusiastic. Especially when you know the DJ was in ___________ last night, and just flew in the same night. dunno bout you guys, but honestly, i'd be in cranky after about 10-15 shows.......I'd walk up and put a cd in the cd player and put a dummy up....then take a taxi back to the hotel :(
at this point in his career, its gotta be just so damn inevitably routine. I don't care how much you enjoy it, it will take a toll on you physically. Its why DJ's like armin get so much respect, they just never appear to be worn. |
