I'm sure most of you have heard already about this horrible accident but if you haven't go here: http://espn.go.com/rpm/cart/2001/0915/1251612.html

Ugh...this week sucks, I just can't wait for it to end.

I couldnt imagine losing both legs...Im not sure if Id rather be alive or dead...id just be crushed.. I could deal with out my arms..but not my legs I dont think

It's sad, what about the guy who hit him, he'll carry that guilt to his grave. Things happen in motorsports like the crash at monza in 1993 that killed Arton Senna. Like the crash in 2000 that killed Greg Moore and the crash that killed Erhardt. Life is tough but i guess that is the price that must be paid for those who do motorsports. Alex Zanardi was a good driver, he has to move on with life.

I dont know if the other guy will feel that bad. Zanardi was sideways across the track coming out of the pits. Nothing the other guy could do to avoid him.
TeKnoHe@d2025
Yeah, it all happened so fast I doubt that he had time to even react.
raoel
The other guy will feel bad for a while. but he couldn't help it.
With a speed of 320 Km/h you can't do a thing.
