I think a good thing to do with anyone wanting to get a tatoo, is choose one, wait at least a year, and then if you still want it then get it. If you don't want it afterwards, then you will really appreciate having waited the extra year. It's amazing how quickly something like that can become and boring and regretful to a person. |
Even better, get it down in Henna. Touch it up every couple of weeks so it doesn't start to fade, and if you're still doing it after a year get it done perminant. |

| I'm not familiar with Greek health codes, but after you decide on a design make sure the place you go to opens the packaging of the needle in front of you or at least ask if the needle has been steam sanitized. And make sure the artist doesn't dip into the ink well and pours the ink into separate containers from the ink well. Observing the neatness of the studio and the equipment is also an indicator if the artist is up to date and is strict about cleanliness. Getting hepatitis B from dirty ink and needles is really nasty. |

Stop. Right now, just stop. If you're going to get a tattoo design from someone online, and you don't even know what you yourself want, or you're going to go with a trend because it's "cute", you're a moron. No offense. Keep in mind, that this will be on your body for the rest of your life. Getting a tattoo is a big decision, and requires a lot of thought. Don't just get one because your friend is getting one.
I have three tattoo's, and each one took me the roundabouts of a few years to decide. I'd known since I was a kid what I wanted, I just needed to work on the design. Think a bit more before you put something on your body for the rest of you life.
Here's my latest:
