Cool! I like his works and albums alot.
Seems that he has done or is related to so many productions i have never even heard of.. until now. So off hunting for some previously unheard Ulrich lil' Grimmy goes! |

Good stuff, check it out everyone.
Never knew he was so young... his music gave me the impression that he was one of those old electronic music pioneers. Great music. |

Yeah... if he shaved and went bald and went "Grrr!" he could be Moby's cousin, but I like his hair, it's kind of Einsteiney, which gets me wondering if him and John B know each other?
Anyhoo . . .
Ulrich is the next-gen of ambient/new age/chill-out/downtempo/IDM/whatever you wanna call it now. During a time where too many clones were making glitchy tracks that were supposed to be daringly experimental but oddly sounded like one huge Autechre & Aphex & friends tribute album, Ulrich brought forth an unorthodox yet accessible return to the form of FUNDAMENTAL MELODY.
AHHH looks like he's got the nod from Froese the younger too! A good sign, like passing the Olympic electronic music torch of sorts! I wonder what Edgar thinks?
"Nobody's Home" -- great Christmas carol. No lyrics though but it gets you smelling turkey and being home with family and friends when you listen!
And back to the beginning, I feel him and Moby should collaborate on some pleasantly warm & fuzzy pieces. |
