Hey TA's,
My old headphones recently cracked and broke (stupid Sony's) so I need a new pair. I already have my Pioneers, but they're too heavy to lug around on flights, trips, etc. I need recs for new headphones, preferably ones that are NOT earbuds, since those are very uncomfortable for me. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot! |

I have several headphones (4)
My fav are my BOSE noise cancelling ones...ahh makes travelling on long-haul flights sooooo much better. Hell. They're awesome anywhere. But I dont like taking them out and about alot on account of their price!
I also have these
They're good for when you have a hat or hair done up...nice and comfortable and the sound is really quite good. I use them the most at school/work.
Then I have these that are pretty much stuck on the PC...good sound for such a dang cheap price, although the build quality is...cheap.
Then I have some sony earbuds...but...I never use those.

What's your price range? If money isn't a problem, I'd recommend Audio-Technica EM9's

I had the Quiet Comfort 2's, great headphones, really comfortable. But i took um back within 30 days because i couldnt stand the fact that the battery only lasts at max 40 hours. THey died on the plane ride going to and from. not keepable in my book.
But if you don't mind replacing the batteries then they are great headphones. |

| make sure you want to get a open air headphone instead of closed air as those are usually more comfortable for long listening... the noise cancellation headphones IMO are not that great as they are closed and they do get uncomfortable after a while... i would recommend mainly headphones from sony or sennheiser as they are one of the best choices for headphones out there |
