Why make trillions when we can make billions?

you wont ever get a proper answer for this sabre, simply because its pretty unprofessional for people to go around displaying 'roughly' how much they earn.

Yes, but sabre isn't asking for specifics of anyone's earnings, so he should be able to get an answer to his question. Its just like any other job where there are average earnings for the industry. Like for example there aren't any secrets about what a graduate, intermediate or manager in accounting would earn (the industry im in). Im not sure what the average is for DJs but there's a minimum per hour of around $70-$100 or something like that I think, and it goes up from there.

Newbies: Barcard
Up n Comer: $40 - $50 (depending if they bring people or not)
Established - have a name and can pull a crowd: $70 - $80

I remember once someone seriously thought you should be getting $20 for each record you played. Teehee.....wonder how far he got.

Anyway, depending on the size and cover charge of the event, and the length of your set it really varies so much that anywhere from $0 to $200 is feasable. It also depends on the calibre and reputation of the DJ.

i was told a couple of years ago that icebox generally pays about $200/hr. I have no idea how true it is, or how close it would be to any local event in any other town.
