| I'm rarely shocked anymore with the odd exception but this takes first prize. Joe Thorton who has not resigned with Boston, I thought well another team offered him more coin but no, he signs with a Swiss League team. True, hockey may not happen next year but what happens if it does, is Thorton stuck? |

| I think there is some sort of deal that if there is hockey at the start of the season that he would be able to leave the Swiss team. I THINK that's what I read on the Flames forum... |

| Yeah, I think that contract and the contracts of all those players who have signed with European teams will be null and void if there is an NHL season. |
