what are ur gems?
torontotrance
Marky Star feat. Black Santa - Buy This Record
West Magnetic - Top Down (love that CD)
Coldcut - 70 mins of dj madness
Mr.Mystery
Pepe Deluxe - Beatitude
Aavikko - Multi Muysic
Lunatic Calm - Breaking Point
aspergian
Tangerine Dream - Dream Mixes

One of their lesser-known albums. It's funny because the early trademark ostinato Tangerine Dream sound of their seminal 70s/80s period has been a massive influence to trance, and here you get Edgar Froese and son (and a few studio musicians I believe) remixing TD's own tunes! Of COURSE they'd know what to do with it. It's '95 and very straightahead but the melodies are catchy, the production gloss and impeccable, and it really moved me emotionally from the opening notes to the last beats. :D

Good thread.

I doubt I have many hidden gems.

Although I do have a lot of early Mixmag and DJ Mag Free CDs. From PVD to Eddie Halliwell etc.

this is a recent hidden gem for me. very good uplifting trance from this group from canada. good luck trying to find this on wax cuz it took me awhile to find a decent copy. records was released about a year ago. everyone should take a listen to it. its has a touch of vocals but no to much to make commerial imo

this sound clip doesnt have the song pitched up 3%-sound alot better when it is.

Mine were mostly breaks except for the Aavikko album which is sort of retro-edm. It's made only with cheap sounding 80's synths and drum machines, really fun to listen to in moderation :)
