| opps sorry that was spelling, but yeah sara mclaclen (dont think thats any better). its out on cd i have an intire cd of her remixes and its track 6 i think. its a mint cd :D |

Hmm. Nonmixed CDs with only great remixes.. dunno many. There are CDs including a few great tracks both original and remixed but then mostly crappy tracks (i.e. Trancemaster CDs).
A quality wise better example of nonmixed ones are Eye-Trance compilations, nowadays they have only 1 nonmixed and 2 mixed discs when on the earlier ones it was vice versa, 2 nonmixed and 1 mixed. But not only remixes in those either, originals also. Then there are Gary D's D.Trance compilations which have like 1-5 good tracks and others being completely suitable for a cheesefest.
As a nonmixed compilation Chicane's Visions Of Ibiza is my fav. It has loads of amazing tracks from way back. Not too many remixes on it tho. Platipus Records had amazing nonmixed compilations back in mid/late 90s, volumes 1-6 are 1 disc nonmixed and the more recent ones have been 2 discs with other one mixed (i think).
And the Sarah McLachlan CD is called "Remixed", one of the best artist remix CDs with full of great remixes of her tracks. Don't forget Tiësto's In My Memory 2CD version with the 2nd disc being remixes. Also Three Drives' 2CD album has the 2nd disc being remixes. The same with PvD's 45rpm and Seven Ways 2-disc editions and the PvD remix compilation Perspective. All full of non mixed remixes.
All the decent trance compilations i know are mixed, at least the more recent ones. |
