Hey Guys,

Id love some help here.

Im going to be DJing at a "Sleaze Ball" coming up in the next few months, and they want Dark and Sleazy Kinda Music.

Can anyone recommend any "dark" "sleazy" or both "dark and sleazy" sounding "Progressive" and or "Trance"

it would be much appreciated :)

Check out tracklistings of sets by Moshic or Steve Lawler for some dirty deep tribal prog.. May not appeal to everybody at the party though.

Look for electroclash... or electro-trance, which is like electroclash + trance hybrids (or something to that effect... gah labels). One popular name which would be appropriate is Ferry Corsten, and some of the tracks off of his Right of Way might work.

Also,

PQM vs. Luke Chable - You Are Sleeping

is one exemplary track that always comes to mind when I think of "sleazy music"! BT and Sasha's "Ride" would be another dirty gritty one ;)

Yeah, there's gotta be some Janet Jackson remixes in that vein . . .

OMG is that a TARDIS as your avatar? I missed it for the first time around. Orbital's remix of the Dr. Who theme is also quite dirty, its bassline cuts right through!!

And here's one more: Prodigy's latest single, "Girls" and the b-side "Memphis Bells" both fit the definition. If you're also spinning breaks, there's a whole lot of stuff in the nu skool vein like what's coming out of Fuel or Adam Freeland or Meat Katie productions that are just saturated with grimey dirt :D
