Hmm well I'd love to read it but Geocities is blocked. Gotta love military logic, I can get to porn sites but not Geocities.

Let me know if someone else hosts it, sounds interesting and it's a boring Arabian night here!

thanks for checkin' it out you guys, yeah geocities does that when a lot of people are on a site at once, it was the quickest solution last night to hosting it.
i'll see if my buddy dj jem will host it

Interesting descriptions of trance. I liked your idea of trance in different time signatures, it's something I've thought of myself. Having electronic beats in a non-4/4 track might be tricky, but if you start by writing an ambient track in, say, 3/4 time, it would be very freely creative, at least melodically.

I had a bit of trouble understanding the wave diagrams, but by reading everything else I was able to figure out what you were trying to say.

It was fun reading about how someone other than myself interprets trance music, not something you read about every day. I'm a musician and a DJ, and most of what you said is all stuff that I have thought about, but when I'm spinning or producing, my brain simplifies all that in larger terms. Thanks for taking the time to write all that, I appreciated reading it.

more detailed explainations. more info on the theory rather than on what you think. diagrams could be explained better.
