musically, Lange played a good set.. it didnt have the perfect flow and his mixing wasnt flawless, but he definitely brought a different style and sound that nyc wasnt used to.. and was great.. mostly instrumental and hard at some points with a few vocals dropped.. it was definitely different from the usual trance jocks we get in nyc.. i dont even have to mention who they are..i think Lange is still growing as a dj and really has the potential to be top notch he has the sound and the ear for it. just needs to sharpen his technical skills and more experience overall in the art of djing..
i left at 5am and DuMonde was really baning it out.. the classic DuMonde style... big kick, and rolling basslines.. the flow they kept was almost techno without the crazy hi hats.. if you were a fan of their style, they sure didnt disappoint... i got there really early[10pm] so by 5am i was really tired and DuMonde's style of tracks were a bit 'forcefull' to my ears.. when i left it was in the middle of their remix of 'Symsonic'.. all in all, very good night.. only thing was that more ppl should have came out.. the peak was about 60% full i'd say and thats being generous.. ok, that'll do. i need to get ready for Fuzion tonight... maybe i'll see some of you there.. peace.

Might I add that they lowered the speakers from time to time in the front so the people in the booth could hear each other when they really needed to talk. That could be the technical difficulties people thought the DJs had. :wtf: |

not to bad of a night. mike did a good job opening things up. lange started out sort of minimal psy trancey stuff and worked his way to some solid anthems. dumonde's set was just anthem after anthem which sort of got boring after a while, but all in all i still managed to have a good time. i agree with tek, the sound system in that room was pretty clean and sweet sounding, you had to go to the back to experience it though. btw nice seeing all the ta's and other people i met, also slantz, that tune was Katana - In silence (Txixtaxaro remix), which def was the tune of the night imho, both lange and dumonde dropped it. |
Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitarro Remix) = pure ownage. It felt like I was the only person who knew the song and kept jumping after that awesome buildup (I was the big black guy in the front) ;) |

This was the best night of music that NYC has seen in a long time. This was the party of the year for me. Both Lange & Dumonde were amazing! 8 Hours non-stop of the hardest, most intense trance tunes ever made. There was never a dull moment. Dumonde played tons of new stuff, but he also played all of his original remixes that were on everyone’s favorite list between 2001-2003. Stuff that you will never hear in a club again.

Dont Forget DuMonde is 2 people :) |

classic moment that i will never forget was when a couple of TA's(not gonna name any names) went to the roof and got locked out towards the end of the nite and i had to go and open the door for them hahaha :haha: :haha:. |
You suck for just standing around :P She kissed me!! Omg I melted :D. she also has nice legs.:stongue:
Btw, I was in that booth, but that f00kin bald guy kept pushing me back. Light security though. That was one of the best parts of the night. |

Nothing wrong with them, just that I saw some of them saying "I can't dance to this sh*t." Plus there were alot of them downstairs making the main floor almost empty. :( |
