The night was short.. but GOOD. Got in there by 11:45 for free thx to followtheparty's guestlist :)
Eclectic Method was on before Hyper & his show was interesting.. even tho it wasnt my sorta thing. It was a megamix of mainsteam dance & urban tunes with music videos synced to the music. Nice technical work.
DJ Hyper got on at around 1:15ish AM & threw down a sweet breaks set. Many break mixes of familiar tracks such as The Crystal Method - Bound Too Long, Ferry Cortsten - Punk (w000), and a Daft Punk Discovery track, and some U2 mix (correct me if im wrong!). No boring moments.. his sets are hella danceable. The set was cut kinda short by about 3:00 AM :( A few ppl grabbed Hyper posters from the washroom so me & some TAs (Carney & Danielle) got 1 too and met up w/Hyper after his set to get them signed. Hyper is a cool guy & chatted w/us for a bit.. I think he was a little confused about the sparse crowd, espiecially compared to his banging night at Guv for Decadence (he liked that Guv crowd BTW :))
I think The Docks could probably promote thier Godskitchen events to EDM crowds a little better. However, the few Hyper fans & TAs going crazy on the floor still made it enjoyable! Kudos guys.. good night. |

| Not a big fan breaks, but his set was ok, only stayed till like 3 cuz I had to get up for wonderland Saturday morning and didn't want to be hurting. |
