Okay...you may remember my first stab at this and I totally thank TA for the comments and suggestions.
I have implemented most of them into this latest version. (Fever Mix because I had mono and a high fever most of the month):happy2:
As you have suggested I have layered the kick, changed the clap, modified one of the kits (jungly type kit) made the ending more h00j and add various effects for fuller production. Also cut out much of the vocals as most of you weren't keen on 'em...but I did keep them for the most part. Sorry ;) .
Lemme know how it is now! Is this trance or should I change the title to something else?

wow!
its a hybrid of Funky House/Trance mate.
the clap i think has too much mid
the bass has a bit of a stabby action which iam not sure is too cool.
its actually a real big ch00n!
really impressive like the fat bright pad, works with the fx and the other trance synth
the melody thats counter i assume is a lil camp before my ears get used to it, i seriously like the way its doing a funky house melody with trance synths mate my ears really dig it.
like the use of Big Bang Theorys God Child Vocals
really good tune mate
the hole track does actually appear to have abit too much mid
still think the tunes a lil bit 80s camp :/
but taking that crap out to one side.
its a awesome trance/funky house CHOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

giving it a listen - makes me feel spaced out. things jus seems a little loose, was this recorded live? if so a little quantisation of the synth lead should sort it, altho.. the offset of it makes for interesting listening.
Nice use of the vocals @1.58, must say i was expecting it to kick into something a little bit more..
Definately has a house style sound with it, but set with a trance back line, wouldn't know what to class it as :eyes:
still quite liking the vocals, just into the break section now.. as mentioned, something about the lead is 80's camp.. maybe bringing down the decay/sustain, and having shorter blippy stabs rather than long synths, and some syth strings holding up the back?
Just a suggestion.. liking the melody and it's ideas.. keep up the top notch work :happy2: |

Is that Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Overall it has a nice feel but I don't like the cowbell on the kick. I like the synthstrings.
Buildup confuses me a bit. Is it me, or?
Keep up.

Not my cup of tea actually, personal taste only ( i don't like the 80's... )
Aside from that, you've definitely got some great ideas in there, it sounds really confident and there's lots of great trancey sounds.
The vocals are really, damn cool! |

Yes...I'm stuck in the eighties! :happy2:
So you think its more Retro Funky House than trance?

heya !
* it does sound quite retro indeed in the synths you use, but it doesnt sound cheap.
* synths are nice !
* percussion seems too simple and not full enough
* uve got a really good groove from the bass pattern
cya !
