Dave Ralph... I've been a fan of his ever since Tranceport 2 was released... and this CD just proves him even further as being one of our biggest trance pioneers...I thought his Live @ Love Parade CD was pretty good, but not up to par with Tranceport 2, but then I figured... everyone misses now and then... just look at Tenaglia and the atrocious Global Undegergound: Athens CD.... *UGH*... but he came back with the New York CD, just as Dave Ralph has done with Naturalized... It's a 2CD set with just the right moves and grooves to become an underground hit. Kinetic has done a fabulous job with giving their DJ's free range to do anything they want on their CD's... the same was shown with DJ Dan's recent "In Stereo" (Another great CD for you househeads out there) no corporate bulls*** to deal with here, this is the REAL thing...
CD 1 takes on a real progressive "chilled-out" vibe letting the listener take in the sometimes quiet and sometimes raging vibe that progressive trance has become.. I was very impressed with track 6.. Slyder - Multiple Cats.... and then mixing quite beautifully with X-Press 2 - MuzikizuM (which is one of my favorite tracks of the past year)... then CD 2 goes to the peak-hour floor fillers and takes that to the next level, filling the entire 76 minutes with a nonstop shake your ass to the ground, glowsticking heaven!! This is by far one of the best CD's I've heard in recent times... and I want to hear more!
What does the rest of you think of it? I know some people out there hate progressive and anything that it spawns... me personally I am open to ALL forms of dance music... I love it all... and take it all in....

i'm listening to the first 3 tracks over and over again. i havn't had time to listen to the rest of the album, but it sounds good so far!
