Woke up this morn @ 6:30, my cat woke me, & as i was letting him out, i had a look @ the sky & saw this huge looking star. I didn't have my specs on, & eyes were still getting out of the waking up stage, so it got a bit blurry & seemed to be getting bigger! I was really worried, like "holy , it's armageddon", but of course this is just my imagination, fatigue & paranoia playing tricks on me. :D
Anyways, i started searching for this old telescope i have, it's really quite mediocre, but it worked OK. It's a bit messed up tho: it slides down slowly even tho the screw is tight. So after zooming, focusing, losing sight of the 'star' & starting over i managed to see that it was not a massive star, but actually a planet (there was a crescent shape). So i was just wondering what planet that could be. Is it mayB Venus or Mars? If u know how i can find out or even know, drop me a line. |
