Hey there folks, need some help here...

I was offered a pair of these players for a really low price - 1500 NIS or approximately 300-350 USD for a pair...

Now, I'd like to know whatchu guyz think about this...

Is this a good, reliable modle? How does it look when compared to the popular CDJ-100 and what are the chances a used one will cost that low?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for messing your thread mate but is your computer fixed yet?
If so find me on the ICQ...

Well about the cd decks, IMO get something reliable that will serve you for a long time. It doesn’t seem to me that this one company has a great reputation, like pioneer for example.

Just my opinion (so it wont look like im just spamming your thread with bull )
:D
montie
ive never even heard of Pro-DJ
and that set up just really looks ty :p
but you should never judge a book by its cover.
altough, if they are offering 250-300 for both of them then they most likely aren't too good
you prolly aren't getting much of a deal on them. i'd hold off and buy the Pioneer CDJ100 (if thats what your budget allows) or get a CDJ800 or 1000

dam, there practically the same thing, I think this is a unit that has the same internals but is sold do different companies for them to modify and sell as there own, like the Stanton STR8-150, Acura, American DJ and so on.

I don't know anything about this unit, but my guess is its not that great, it doesn't have a jog wheel so you have to use pitch bending buttons to beatmatch, which will be a bitch, I say save your money, put it towards CDJ-100s or something.

I guess we're settled on the fact that they don't really give a good impression :p
Been offered 2X CD100s for 4000 NIS ~ 900 USD ... Is that a good offer fer a used couple?

Thanks you guyz for the aid, my trading instict for DJ equipment's been on the retired side for a year or so, I'm not that sharp these days ;)

Roman dude, my PC isn't fixed yet, I'm typing from dad's Laptop... I'm really stressed about buying some equips and can't wait for the PC to return fixed... Your cell ain't responding BTW

Really depends on their age and condition. You can get a new pair around here for about 6000 NIS if I remember correctly. So if they arnt that old its not that bad of a deal.

Sorry to hear that mate.
About my cell, the thing is I got into the pool while it was in my pocket. I just forgot it was there. Its still working but there are some problems with the "klita", but most of the times its working properly.

Well I dunno what a good price is in your country, but here in Canada they retail for around $500 CDN which is about $380 USD.
cryo
900USD you can get 2 pioneer cdj 100s

You're right, it's quite expansiiove in international terms but over here a new one costs 3,200 NIS or so ~ 700 USD ...

So he's offering it to me for about 60% market price...

Well in that case, if they are in good condition and you want some good CDJs, I would say go for it, they do there job just fine, plus many clubs use them, so if you played out, you would be used to them.
