a remix just give u a fresh feel of a classic song...WHY NOT? we've listened to slience for a few yrs now..why not a fresher sound remix to it? its not like we gonna throw away the orignal, or not listen to it ever again. Open ur heart enjoy everything dats good^^ i just heard the A&B remix of slienece live friday nite...thought it was great...refreshing and new. This doesnt mean im gonna throw away my old "slienece"

Original mix is underrated, Tiesto's mix is overrated. I love the piano loop in the original mix.

I enjoy both the original and the remixes for what they are worth. For instance: You should be able to see that, for example, tiesto's remix is much more 'dancable' and suitable for a club than the original?

Exactly. Begs the question why the hell they asked A&B and G&D in the first place.

Was it 'Silenced by Fear' by any chance?

interesting....
thx for the info

dont think 'Silence' needs another remix as Above & Beyond already have shown us how bad a remix can be

Andain's cover of Here is the House is pretty nice. It feels a bit whack at first because you are so ready to hear Dave Gahan's voice, then bloop...it's a female voice...hehehe.

I've only heard it twice, both times here in SF when G&D played. If you are a big Depeche Mode fan, you might have issues with it...otherwise, it's a pretty refreshing track...Mavie's voice in it is soft.

From what I could tell, the music in the bootleg is the same music that was in the original bootleg with Dave Gahan's voice in it.

as has already been pointed out, this constant remixing of old classics is just not necessary. in particular, while i like some g&d productions, mostly their remixes of trance tunes seem to leave the tunes pretty much featureless. ok, maybe they are progressive and i dont like progressive but i cant imagine their mix being anything other than boring by comparison with the older mixes. go make some new tunes ffs!

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think this remix was done by Fear Force, not too sure but remember he made one a while back which was caned by JFK. For more info/undiscovered artist visit www.mpfreescene.com if you haven't already. Good site with good upcoming producers.
