Just thought of this after posting in that thread about the way djs look, i think that in djs sets its more important to be unique. Its like you have the top ring of djs and their all unique of each other and then you have the clases bellow them where all the djs copy them thus they just look like wanabes. The reason i like ferry corstein so much is cuz his sounds so unique, and i think the uniquness of his sound has alot to do with his popularity

Most of the A list deejays are too busy playing the same as each and that bores the outta me. I rather see people like JooF (always playing stuff, you never heard), Rennie Pilgrem (never whoring his label like lavelle and freeland :() or Christopher Lawrence (at least he plays different tracks)

yap another prime example of selective..different music is ...M.I.K.E...
if u hear his sets most of the time( about 90%of the time) you have no idea wat is rollin on the deckx....but its good e....
really dark selective stuff...

j00f's da man. I saw him in Shanghai, and when listening to his other sets, he seems to always have the perfect mix of headliner tracks, and unknowns. Plus his sound varies so much from set to set...

ya you're right. M.I.K.E has great sets and they are kinda like a surprise. you never know what he will play next and when you do hear the next track you dont know from where the hell M.I.K.E brought it heh
