spinning a record on your finger like tiesto does..

hi
i've seen it live and in some videos, he takes a record puts it on his finger and spins it around for some time at (relatively) great speed..... soooo i tried to do that but it simply doesnt work. :conf:
is it that he has just super-slim fingers where he puts the record and spins it? because mine are definitely too big..
or is there some trick like he uses a stick or a cigarette filter(i tried that but it doesnt work well or at all)?
any ideas? thanks very much :stongue: |

are you talking about spinning it on your finger like you would spin a basketball ? if so im sure your just bored and wanted to learn but i dont really think thats important to do/learn when DJing |

hey, it's all about appearances -- music has NOTHING to do with the DJ business :haha:
spinning as in putting the record on your finger and then rotating it while mantaining it on the finger (without it falling down that is)
it just looks so cool........
those of you who actually replied in a mannerly fashion, could you please give some details on how you achieved to do it?
because I have no idea how to start.. my fingers are to damn big :o |

| regardless of how "cool" it looks... its not something I wanna do with my records that I have spent FAR to much money on, to have one go crashing to the floor, or onto my TT's or some stupid thing... :nervous: |
