Just curious, i'm not all for the place, but i don't seem to dislike it as much as some people in these forums. I admit it's a pure clubclub in the summer and the music is pretty , but they bring in some good talent in the winter, both international and local...hot girls... sound system and lighting are better than a lot of places too. Ahhh well, looking forward to AvB, and my free entrance hehe

in the winter, the docks is a VENUE.

they don't bring in the talent, promoters do.
it is pretty much the only surviving legal venue in toronto that can fit a couple thousand people.

therefore, it is overused.
every weekend.
and the layout is - the only time i've liked it was for wintergalactic 2001 - one big room, and a killer sound setup.
usually it's divided into two rooms, it's impossible to move, it's impossible to dance...

Well, in the summer it sux just because of the music played there during that time... i like the place as a venue for parties in the winter, Wintergalactic 2001 was great, but the sound system that night should've been alot better for the size of the place... Best party i went to that was there this year was BigBud 4th year Anniversary party... The Docks was set up great for that night.
