| I seem to have a reoccuring blister, it's not the shoes or the socks but what's the easiest way to take care of it, I wonder if anyone has suffered them and what they have used. I've already done my research on the subject but I wonder what the TA massive that run use to deal with it. |

LOL
look, in the last 3 weeks, I've developed a blister on my small toe and no matter what I do with it, the damn thing bothers me when I go running, it is not the shoes or the socks, so I was wondering if anyone had ever had this problem and what did they do to solve it. |

To be fair, if it's caused by running and it's not his shoes or socks....there's only one other place I can think of where rubbing occurs whilst running and if it's there he has every reason to moan :D
He's right tho TTA, burst it and whack a plaster on it.... |

dunno if this is any help, but I used to dance ballet and after being en pointe for several hours you get some nasty blisters. Try soaking them in hot water with either iodine or epsom salt mixed in the water, it smells like but it really works wonders. Especially for those ones that have a lot of pus.
(heh I was going to type "pus-y" as an adjective but it looks like I'd be talking about blisters in a certain region of a female, and that's just nasty.) |

I usually just pop it and then hang it out to dry. Keep all the skin on and run again the next day. I got calluses and now I dont get them any more. I also do trail running up and down mountains so that gave me a little rougher of a time than usual, so I think I HAD to build calluses.
I already told Andy this, im just saying it so I dont look like an ass :D too much of that lately |

you gotta let them develop into a calous. (sp?) until then, jyou just deal with it.
in my own personal experience, i put a jnj blister pad on them, which helps a bit or i peel off the dead skin. but that doesnt prevent them from coming back. i wont let the calouses develop cause i dont want rough feet. |

| yeah are u sure its not the shoes? sometimes if you tie them too tight it ends up restricting motion. it usually is just easier to just bear through it. i'm a rower and my hands go bloody from blisters for the first two weeks of the season then they start to heal =) |

| Maybe it is the shoes? I got blisters all the time when I ran until I changed shoes. Turns out the pressure in one area was what was giving me recurring blisters. |
