Armin - Intruder / Pound

I heard 'Intruder' was produced with MIKE and i'm yet to hear 'pound'. Apparently its scheduled for release in august, does anyone have any info on pound? has it been played yet etc etc i couldnt find any info on it myself.

| go to http://www.astralmusic.nl and search for intruder - you can listen to both intruder and pound - nothing special IMO. |

Intruder sounds massive live.. heard it about four times in a club now, and it is very well received.
Pound doesn't sound too bad either, but it's hard to judge a track when you only have a 32kbps sample. the melody is ok, nothing too special, but there seem to be a bunch of great sounds and effects in there.. i hope Armin plays it in his show thursday...

I agree. This is the best thing to come out of Armin and MIKE's studios for a long time, and the first of Armin's recent collabs I've ever liked too. Dark, driving and fierce sounds, using the double hit Speedy J-ish kickdrum to great effect. Massive track that would definitely go down a storm in a club.
Pound has potential, but the lead is too weak and it lacks something to really make it stand out. |
