Haha, I'm the man at that stage. There was a girl I really fancied back last october and we started talking about the lesson, teachers, coursework, revision, uni, loads of stuff like that, all the time whenever we were around eachother. Unfortunately though that was all we ever talked about, right up until early this month when she left college. Oops. |

I mean why send a damn note saying you wanna talk, yet you don't have the balls to talk to her in the first place. Just talk to her. It doesn't have to be about your undying love for her, it doesn't have to involve her meeting your parentals.
Next time you see her, no matter what, just say 'hi'. You don't even have to wait for a reply, but at least it's a start & you have made some sort of contact/ acknowledgement. |

wasnt there a quality thread a few days ago teaching our young ta's about the ethics of posting pics of other people on the internet without their permission? i mean really, did it occur to you that it might be disrespectful to this girl to post her pic on a public forum without her knowledge? not a good first step....
anyway, get some confidence and go talk to her. insecurity is unattractive. learn to believe in yourself. |

Seriously though, no sending of notes please. She doesn't look like the type of slutty whorish man-girl that usually dwell in most schools, so she's a bit of a find. If her mates have given you photo's of her, I guaruntee they've told her about you liking her. Unless they're doing it for a laugh, in which case, they're mean girls, and she's also mean. :p
I say you should bump into her again, but not just passing her in the corridor. I dunno if you have lockers or something; maybe you could catch her eye while you grab your books or something. Or maybe if you're both queueing in the canteen. Anywho, if you catch her eye, just start chatting. She'll chat back. ;)
You can kind of tell if they're interested or not, but sometimes it's hard, especially with the nice girls. The problem is they're too nice, and they dont wanna just reject you outright, so they keep talking to you anyway. But hey, she'll be impressed that you plucked up the courage in the first place, so there's a plus.
Just dont hassle her. After you chatted with her a bit, over the next couple of days, just keep it cool. Smile at her every now and then, and if she's interested, at some point she'll make a move towards you, just like you did, coz she knows you're interested too.
From then on you're in there my man.
