What is a cream and silk filter type? :conf: Are there anymore "strange" filter types and if so could you explain me what it does? :conf:

sounds like your talking about Albino :D

The silk filter is a bit more tame when compared to the cream filter and it leaves a lot more overtones.

Silk offers lowpass (12 or 24dB/octave), 24dB/octave bandpass, and 12dB/octave highpass. Other controls are the usual cutoff, resonance, keyboard tracking, envelope invert, and envelope amount. Cream is the same, but provides 12 or 24dB/octave rolloffs for lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and notch responses.

The names silk and cream are given to the structues of each filter.. its something developed and named by linplug :D

Hope this helps..
