Morbid Curiosity

A guy jumped 6 floors from an internal balcony in the Abby National Building today.
5 cop cars, 2 ambulances and finally the coroner many hours later coupled with an urge to fulfill my morbidity, and we got to see the body bag being taken out.
If we had been watching at the right time we would of seen him jump as the corridor he would of leaped from run vertically opposite from our windows.
At least its less inconvenient than the monday morning jumpers on the central line. |

It took 5 cops and 2 ambulance crews a number of hours to figure out he was dead??...
:conf:
Must have been a scary sight though. If I was witness to that, I think I'd brick it.

| Not nice at all, i remember my first year at uni, was sat in my room and heard noises from up above the halls, looked out and saw this guy jump from the 18th floor of our halls, he went straight past my window. First to get on the scene aswell, not nice at all. :( |

I can never understand just what frame of mind these people must be in to do things like this. How you can be at such dispair to inflict this amount of harm & pain to yourself ? I just don't understand, and I hope I never have to find out either.
I travel into London on the train and there are often suicide jumpers. Unfortunately, methods like this can impact so many other peoples lives, just imagine how distraught train drivers are after such an incident - it can wreck their lives.
Whoever he is, I hope he has found peace now. |
