Because Holden uses far more attention to detail.

you've gotta be in kidding me -- i don't know how you could possibly find Burma boring. this track is more alive than so many pounding trancers people listen to. i have been hooked on this ever since i first heard it. sasha's bassline is so ing good and its great on the dancefloor. this is my favorite track of the cd, and this cd makes me smile and jump around - not necessarily because of the moods of the tracks but because it's a refreshingly ing good cd that blows anything of this year to bits. bass grooves, beats and chill melodies, it's perfect if you ask me.

i'm sorry, i don't blame people for their tastes.. but that, lostep - burma is hot stuff and thats all i have to say about that.

and by the way, get a clue if you think sasha is not attentive to detail. he has a million and one sounds that blend together in perfect harmony in his latest productions. you do not arrive at this by ing luck. compare some of these tracks with their originals and listen to airdrawndagger properly, you might learn a thing or two about PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL from sasha :eyes:

Show me where I said Sasha is not attentive to detail. Show me where I never listened to Airdrawndagger "properly." Lastly, show me what it is that I said about a piece of music that made you take such offense to my opinion - one that wasn't even directed towards you at that.

Personaly i find the original far better then the Sasha mix but sasha did a good job.... but when it comes to Luke Chable and Phil K they put out some of the nicest progressive breaks out and the original mix of this track is by far the best breaks track of the year pure bliss.

to be fair airdrawndagger did feature a lot of input from James Holden, Charlie May & Junkie XL

Trance3 - I agree that James Holden is an excellent producer - I never questioned his production skills. I just fail to see how any of his tracks are more "exciting" than this. Apart from A Break In The Clouds (which is an amazing piece of work in every single way) I just rate his productions.

That's my point exactly. It's been my opinion all along, and I still feel that Burma is a boring track. I don't get why people feel the need to tell me my opinion is somehow incorrect - after all, how can a subjective topic ever be judged objectively?

Finally got around to picking up Involver today. What's with the funny cd case size? Am I supposed to use these pics as postcards!

Anyway Burma is a stellar track. Love the synths at the end... puts me in a pure trance state

i Love to drop this track at the end of a set, its just so damn beautiful i love it, amazing synths just crazy how simple the pattern is...

eeeee, old thread.

Anyway, it's a good track, but definitely not the best on Involver.
